  • Compact, sturdy, long life, dependable performance.
  • No piping, tanks, regulators, valves, diaphragms, air, or gas required.
  • Costs less than air starting equipment.
  • Friction wheel slippage can be minimized by roughing the surface with coarse sandpaper.
  • No maintenance of batteries or voltage regulators; no generators to watch; no problems of adaptors or other    auxiliary equipment.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Set four 5/8" x 6" foundation bolts in concrete floor with 3/4" projection above floor.  Set friction wheel with 1/8" clearance from flywheel.  Line up parallel with flywheel of engine to be started.  Starter should be level, firm, and solid.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
After starter engine is running, engage friction wheel against flywheel of engine, roll forward against compression and release; then engage again at which time the starter will roll flywheel in normal rotation until engine fires and starts.  Easier starting will result if compression release valve is open - particularly in cold weather conditions.
